Compared to conventional manual operation, CNC machining centers offer the following advantages:

3. When part geometry or dimensional specifications change, only the CNC program requires modification — significantly reducing setup and production preparation time.

6. In high-volume production runs, product quality is easier to maintain and control consistently.

The disadvantages of CNC machining centers include:

1. Higher technical skill requirements for both operators and maintenance personnel.

2. Tool paths are not as easily visualized during operation, unlike conventional machines where the cutting process can be directly observed.
