Do You Know the Characteristics of a CNC Machining Factory?

The vacuum heat treatment technology used in CNC machining factories is a new type of heat treatment process developed in recent years. Its characteristics are exactly what prototype manufacturing urgently needs, such as preventing heating oxidation and decarburization, vacuum degassing or outgassing, and eliminating hydrogen embrittlement, thereby improving the plasticity, toughness, and fatigue strength of materials (parts). Factors such as slow vacuum heating and the small temperature difference between the inside and outside of a part result in minimal distortion caused by the vacuum heat treatment process. So, do you know what the characteristics of a CNC machining factory are? Next, a CNC machining manufacturer will briefly introduce the characteristics for you.

According to the different cooling media used, vacuum quenching can be divided into vacuum oil quenching, vacuum gas quenching, vacuum water quenching, and vacuum nitrate salt isothermal quenching. In prototype vacuum heat treatment, vacuum oil quenching, vacuum gas quenching, and vacuum tempering are mainly applied. To maintain the excellent characteristics of vacuum heating for workpieces (such as prototypes), the selection and formulation of coolants and cooling processes are very important. The prototype quenching process mainly adopts oil cooling and gas cooling.

1. Strong adaptability and flexibility in part machining. It can machine parts with particularly complex contour shapes or dimensions that are difficult to control, such as mold parts, housing parts, etc.

2. It can machine parts that are impossible or very difficult to machine with conventional machine tools, such as complex curve parts described by mathematical models and three-dimensional freeform surface parts.

3. It can machine parts that require multiple operations after a single clamping and positioning.

4. High machining accuracy, stable and reliable machining quality.

5. A high level of production automation, which reduces the labor intensity of operators. It is conducive to the automation of production management.

6. High production efficiency.

7. From the perspective of cutting principles, both face milling and peripheral milling are intermittent cutting methods, unlike turning which is continuous cutting. Therefore, higher requirements are placed on the cutting tool, which must have good impact resistance, toughness, and wear resistance. Under dry cutting conditions, good red hardness is also required.

The above seven points are the characteristics of a CNC machining factory. We hope they are helpful.
